Amy David (Evanston, Illinois) serves on the board of directors of Chicago Slam Works, an organization that brings together audiences, poets and arts organizations to promote the quality of oral tradition through well-crafted poetry. David has work forthcoming in Foundling Review and Writers' Bloc. Her day job has nothing to do with poetry.
