Inara Cedrins (Albuquerque, New Mexio) is an artist, writer and translator of works from Latvian to English. She received her B.A. in Writing from Columbia College in Chicago and her M.A. in Arts Administration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has traveled extensively, teaching at Tsinghua University and Peking University in China. Her books include "Contemporary East European Poetry: An Anthology" (translator, Oxford University Press, 1993), and most recently "Albuquerque Ghosts: Traditions, Legends, Lore" (Schiffer Publishing, 2009). |
